It is with great sadness that we announce that our longest serving trustee, Mike Henderson, has died. Mike served as a Trustee of Faversham Pools for some 14 years and was a passionate supporter of the Pools. He was a significant personality within Faversham serving as a Faversham Town Councillor and a Swale Borough Councillor. He was also made a Freeman of Faversham, something he was immensely proud of.
He put Faversham at the heart of everything he did and supported many causes and projects. He was an extremely intelligent man with a forensic eye for detail and commanded great respect from local politicians of all parties.
We will miss Mike at the Pools and I have no doubt that he will be missed throughout Faversham and Swale.
We at the Pools will always be grateful for Mike’s support.
